MN State Fair – 9/4/17

Nick, Kristen, Curtis (!!!), and I were in attendance on the last day of the MN State Fair.

Foods I consumed in whole or in part (and some food consumed by others)

• Chan’s Chicken and Rice Bowl
• Apple Rollover
• Corn Dogs
• Corn
• A Delicious Variety from Blue Barn
• Thai Rolled Ice Cream
• Funnel Cake
• Pretzel with Cheese

I was so excited to discover that Thai Rolled Ice Cream had come to the fair! I’d been wanting to try it forever. The line was long, but not as long as it had been on previous days, so I waited. At least watching the ice cream being made was a hypnotic way to pass the time.

The last day is always bittersweet because the fair ends, and we can’t come back for another year. Also it means winter is coming. The good news is that when it takes you almost 3 months to post the state fair blog, there’s less time between now and August 23, 2018!
