After finishing my blog last night, I lounged on the patio. It was warm and there weren’t any bugs; perfect for reading. There are little mini solar powered tiki torches everywhere which give the place a cozy feel. It gets dark so early, and everything is eerily quiet. Either everyone turns in early or they’re all in town partying.
We relaxed poolside into the early afternoon of Tuesday before hitting up the Palapa Bar for lunch. I had chicken nachos and a piña colada once again. Then it was back to the room for a reprieve from the heat before our sunset cruise.
Because we enjoyed our sunset cruise with Cabo Sailing so much last time, we booked with them again, and it did not disappoint. Pedro, Jesus, and Gary (Gary? Really? Gary?) took great care of us. Pedro called me señorita throughout the evening, which I enjoyed immensely.
I didn’t take many pictures because I took a lot last time and I’d rather enjoy the sights with my eyeballs, but I did snap a pic of a gigantic yacht in the marina. Rumor has it it belongs to Jerry Jones of Dallas Cowboys fame, but I gave it a Goog and the pictures that appear are of a different boat so who knows.
Edit: Curtis googled “big yacht in Cabo San Lucas” and apparently it’s owned by a yacht company and you can rent it for a week for the bargain basement price of 2 million dollars.
After the cruise we walked back to our condo at Terrasol. It seems things are picking up a bit. There was a lot of activity and commotion outside our room, and when I took a short reprieve to the patio, the hoots and hollers were in surround sound. Whether these voracious travelers were on their balconies or shrouded in the darkness of the pool, I could not tell. What I do know is COVID cougher in the unit above us coughed up a storm and must be feeling better, because there was more moving furniture and pitter pattering than normal.
At one point I made a comment about feeling drunk, and when asked how much alcohol I consumed on the boat, I said four glasses of wine. It appeared my traveling companions were surprised I was able to make the walk back. Now I feel judged. I’ll show them.
I’ll show them…
