The Saturday before Christmas, I left for Mexico with Curtis, Kristen, Kristen’s friend Julie, and Julie’s sister Debbie. The flight went smoothly. Well, as smoothly as a flight can go with a medical emergency. An older gentleman became unresponsive about an hour out of MSP. An attendant made an announcement requesting if there were any medical professionals on board, to please come to aisle 15. They managed to lay the man down in the aisle and get him oxygen. They also had the defibrillator at the ready. Kristen thought for sure they would land the plane to get him help, especially since we were bound for another country, but for whatever reason, we chugged on to our final destination.Read More →
MN State Fair – 9/4/17
Nick, Kristen, Curtis (!!!), and I were in attendance on the last day of the MN State Fair.
MN State Fair – 8/29/17
MN State Fair – 9/5/16
MN State Fair – 8/25/16
Nick, Kristen, Whitney, and I kicked off our 2016 fair season with a two and a half hour drive around the fairgrounds, followed by a trip to two different park and rides, where we parked street side and squeezed onto a full shuttle. [insert not pleased face]
Three hours after our intended arrival time, the food marathon began! We also took a trip through the Miracle of Birth Center (baby goats and lambs and stinky pigs!), got prime spots at the fish pond, visited the pet center, and rode on one of the sky rides. Also Nick’s grandparents were there, so we got to chat for a little bit.
